[ICE] hOPe

Never go gloomy, man with a mind,
Hope is a better companion than fear;
Providence, ever benignant and kind,
Gives with a smile what you take with a tear;
All will be right,
Look to the light.
Morning was ever the daughter of night;
All that was black will be all that is bright,
Cheerily, cheerily, then cheer up.

Many a foe is a friend in disguise,
Many a trouble a blessing most true,
Helping the heart to be happy and wise,
With love ever precious and joys ever new.
Stand in the van,
Strike like a man!
This is the bravest and cleverest plan;
Trusting in God while you do what you can.
Cheerily, cheerily, then cheer up.

[INTEREST] DBSK Members Solo Activities

Photobucket

For the next half of 2009, DBSK members will be focusing more on their solo activities rather than group activities.

This news had stirred various feedback from fans and their followers.
Some of them were anxious if this could be the spark towards the 'disbanding rumour' that once was a hit among the fans.
A few were scared if they turned into the second *coughshinhwacough*.

Yet, mostly were excited as this could be a chance for DBSK to showcase their personal talents, in proving to others that they have more than just good looks, sexy dancing skills and spectacular vocal.
It is also said, that the solo activities could help DBSK to break from their normal group activities routine, which might appear as a form of relaxation for the five.

As in my opinion, the solo activities won't actually spread or loosen the group relation, but tighten it because the separation might make the members miss each other more and they will start to appreciate the group more, hence making the bond stronger than ever.

[ICE] hAvE YoU EveR MIsSEd YouRSeLf??

mazliana boggoshipda~~~

since i went through the thyroid operation last june, i've been facing this so called temporarily mute condition...though i might not be totally mute, though i can speak with others, as long as they pay attention to me, willing to wait for me to utter my whole sentence that i might need to break into 4 short phrases as it consumed a lot of my energy and breath to speak like normal people, as long as others can stay quite for awhile just so that they can hear what i want to say, then we will be communicating
but you, i, won't be listening to me... it feels like its not me... this is not me... this is not my voice...i am trapped inside my body. my voice stuck at the end of my tongue thus my throat had to push someone else to speak it on behalf of me. there's another person inside of me, the one that has been speaking on behalf of me for all this while before i get myself back. thats the voice that you'll be hearing

where did i left me?? on the operation bed?? inside the operation room?? at the hospital ward???
i lost me. i miss my voice. i miss me.
the me that love my own voice.
the me that love to sing even if it is just to myself

mazliana
please
i beg you
come back~~~~~~

[ICE] Binge- proof your diet: 6 FoODs ThAt kEEp U FuLL & SaTisFiED

by Liz Vaccariello, June 2009

The big, fat (pun intended) irony about trying to drop pounds is that cutting calories has a pesky habit of making you eat more, and more of the wrong types of foods. Think about the last time you nibbled a plain green salad for lunch. How did you feel by 6 pm? Ready to eat an entire anything and then have seconds? Hunger is a real, physical need you can’t overcome with willpower alone. So eat already—and stock up on these foods, which will keep you satiated for hours: Fill up with fiber!

1) Eggs: They’re a great source of hunger-quelling protein (about 6 g per egg), plus a recent study found that women following a low-fat diet who ate 2 eggs for breakfast at least 5 days a week lost 65% more weight and averaged an 83% greater reduction in waist circumference. Not a fan? Low-fat yogurt is a great source of (breakfast-happy) protein.

2) Almonds: These tasty nuts contain the healthy monounsaturated fatty acids, good-for-you fats that keep your appetite sated for hours. Studies back this up—one found that after 6 months, dieters whose eating plan included almonds lost 63% more weight, lost 50% more body fat, and shrunk their waistlines 55% more than those on a high-carb diet. They’re not exactly calorie free, so watch portions (1 ounce—or 28 nuts—is about 170 calories).

3) Avocados: How do I love these? In many many ways, but a few slices with a little lime juice is rich, satisfying, and loaded with so many important nutrients, including those healthy monounsaturated fats, plus vitamins and minerals like potassium and folate. No, they’re not calorie free, but a few slices have between 50 and 75 calories and will make any salad or sandwich SO much more satisfying (you can even throw avocado in a smoothie, which is common in Thai food).

4) Apples: I’m going to resist the urge to write anything about absentee doctors and regular apple consumption, but needless to say, eating one or two of these crunchy, portable fruits really can benefit your waistline: One study found that subjects who ate one apple before every meal lost 40% more weight than those who didn’t. Plus, they’re low in calories—about 65 for one that’s medium-size.

5) Oatmeal: This is the food weight loss dreams are made of. It contains high amounts of soluble fiber, which slows digestion and keeps you full for hours, and one study found that subjects who ate oatmeal for breakfast every day and also walked an average of 15 to 30 minutes daily lost about 10 pounds in 12 weeks.

6) Peanut butter:
Despite the name, peanuts are actually a legume, not a nut, but they’re still high in those craving-quashing monounsaturated fats, and research has found that dieters who snack on peanuts or peanut butter lose more weight than those who don’t. My advice is to stick with the natural kind because it’s lower in added sugars—and spread some on those apple slices next time you get the 4 pm munchies.

[INTEREST] TOHOSHINKI TOKYO DOME GLORY - The Secret Code Japan Tour

If i was there, i'll rip that off and run away with it...
that will make a lovely wallpaper for my room
everyday spending my time molesting it..
hahahahaha

Tokyo Dome was the boys dream
that turned into our dream too and now the dream became reality
but the sad thing is that i am not apart of it

Red sea that filled Dome for 2 historical nights
4th and 5th of July
will definitely be a must remember date
for all of us

A surprise event planned by fans on the 5th
when the red ocean that has been supporting and loving them for all these years
turned into blue ocean

as the boys sang Stand by U fans carefully listened and waved together
creating beautiful blue waves
for everyone to remember

The light sticks of the night

Below are pictures captured through out the two nights
I found my collections lacked of Changmin
Anyone with his pics, feel free to share with me

With that
the whole Japan tour has ended
and now they are heading back to Korea
while preparing for the continuation of Mirotic Asia tour
with Beijing and Shanghai as the next destination
